In today's market the problem is not the lack of buyers or the lack of inventory; the problem is that buyers and sellers are not connecting. Devon Hughes Homes would like to offer a bridge to make that connection through a potential Property Exchange.
Our goal in contacting you with our mailer was to see if this is something that might intrigue you, obviously, you are here seeking more information -- so we are off to a good start! Essentially this program allows both parties to "exchange" ownership of the properties either through purchase or owner financing with the balance of the larger more expensive property being covered with additional financing by you the buyer, whether that be in cash or through a convential or jumbo loan, depending on the balance due or difference in value of the two properties. Although a novel and creative concept this is something that has been done for years and in particular is very appealing in a slower market.
