If you’ve ever submitted an enquiry on a property portal and immediately received forty calls from forty unknown numbers, you know why we don’t operate that way. Here’s exactly how working with Key2YourHome looks, step by step.
The whole process in one paragraph
You message us on WhatsApp with a one-line brief (“2 BHK under 1.2 Cr near Ghansoli, ready in 18 months”). We reply within minutes with 2–3 shortlisted options, real prices and floor plans. You pick one or two to visit. We coordinate the site visit with the developer’s sales office. After the visit, you decide on your own timeline — no daily chasing. If you book, we handle the paperwork end-to-end through allotment and handover.
That’s it. No portal forms. No mystery callers. No “limited-time offer” theatre.
Step 1 — You start a conversation
WhatsApp is our primary channel for one reason: it’s how buyers in India actually communicate in 2026. It’s asynchronous, you can ignore us at 11 PM, you can see real photos and PDFs, and there’s no awkward sales script.
Your first message can be as informal as:
“Hi — looking for 2 BHK in Thane Ghodbunder Road, under 1.4 Cr, ready in next 2 years.”
That’s enough for us to start.
You can also fill the inquiry form on any project page — it lands in our pipeline the same way and a real person replies on WhatsApp within minutes during business hours.
Step 2 — We shortlist (not avalanche)
A senior, real-person at Key2YourHome reviews your brief and picks 2–4 projects that genuinely fit. Not twenty. We don’t dump the entire MMR market on you.
You get back:
- The shortlist with cover image + price + carpet area
- Latest availability (because what’s on the website was true at last build — what’s on WhatsApp is true right now)
- Honest trade-offs (“Project A is cheaper but further from the station; Project B is the better build quality but 8 % more”)
Step 3 — Site visit (on your time)
You pick the project(s) you want to see. We:
- Coordinate with the developer’s sales office
- Pre-share the floor plans you specifically asked about so the visit is fast
- Meet you at the site (or you go directly — your call)
Visits are usually 45–60 minutes per project. We don’t lock you in a closing room. If you want to leave, you leave.
Step 4 — Decision time (your tempo, not ours)
After the visit, the developer’s sales rep will follow up. We don’t add to the noise. You can:
- Ask us anything on WhatsApp — pricing breakdowns, floor-rise differences, stamp duty math
- Take a week. Take a month. Real estate isn’t groceries.
If something on the shortlist isn’t right, message us again. We’ll send another set.
Step 5 — Booking + paperwork
When you’re ready to book:
- Token — usually ₹ 1–2 L, refundable per RERA. We make sure the project’s MahaRERA registration is on every receipt.
- Allotment letter — review with us before signing. Watch for carpet area, possession date, escalation clauses.
- Agreement to sell — registered, MahaRERA-compliant. We coordinate with the developer’s CRM team.
- Bank loan — we connect you to home-loan specialists if needed (independent, you choose the bank).
Step 6 — Handover & possession
When OC comes through, the developer schedules handover. We help with the snag list (a walk-through of the flat to mark defects before you accept keys). After handover, you have us for any developer-side issue — we don’t disappear.
What we don’t do
- We don’t call you unless you ask.
- We don’t promise returns or use words like “guaranteed appreciation”.
- We don’t show the same flat to ten buyers to manufacture urgency.
- We don’t lock you out of resale options — if your shortlist makes more sense as a resale, we’ll say so even though our margin on resale is lower.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly will you reply on WhatsApp?
Usually within minutes during business hours (10 AM – 8 PM, Mon–Sat). Outside those hours, by next morning.
Do I pay any fees to Key2YourHome?
No. Our commission is paid by the developer on a successful booking. The price you pay the developer is identical whether or not you came through us.
Can I work with you for resale or rentals?
Yes — see /resale and /rentals. The process is the same: WhatsApp brief → shortlist → visit → decision.
What if I’m an NRI?
We do remote site visits via WhatsApp video, share documentation in advance, and coordinate POA-based bookings. Message us with your timezone and we’ll work around it.
Ready to start?
The fastest path is the WhatsApp button on any project page — or use the inquiry form and we’ll move the conversation to WhatsApp from there.
